d3o Body Armor
March 27, 2008
d3o is the latest in action sports protective body armor. Their unique material is specially engineered with intelligent molecules. They flow with you as you move but on shock they lock together to absorb impact energy. The material is used by several different companies in tons of different products. I am keeping an eye out for Gore-Tex Pro Shell Leather (the first leather moto jacket using d3o). Another brand using d3o for motorcyclists is Racer gloves. Most products with d3o are for sports (soccer, ski, etc) but more and more motorcycle companies are adopting the material. See more pictures and videos.

Zagato has came out with their new design to transform Bentley Continental GT’s into something much better. If you give them your Continental GT and a lot of cash they will turn it into this! The Bentley Continental GTZ Zagato keeps most of the original cars powerful mechanics. The outside features a two-tone paint job and curvy body with sharp fenders. Right now we don’t know much about the car, there will be more information after the 2008 Salon International de l’Auto (International Geneva Motor Show). Until then enjoy some more pictures.

G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane
February 26, 2008
The G-Power Hurricane (Є240,000) is a modified E60 BMW M5. The twin-supercharged M5 produces 730 horsepower and was clocked at 225 mph, making it the fastest street legal BMW to date. In perfect conditions the G-Power team expects the car could push around 250 mph. I would choose this as a get-a-way car if I ever robbed a bank. [via] G Power BMW M5 image gallery and press release.

Abt Audi R8
February 7, 2008
This Audi R8 has been upgraded by Germany’s Abt Sportsline. Since the R8 is already a vehicle of perfection Abt did very little engine work. Most of the modifications were done to the body which include:
- Carbon fiber skirts and rear spoiler.
- Replacement front and rear clips that tone down the oversized factory grillework.
- Front openings are now angled and feature colored CF inserts.
- A new rear bumper cover w/ diffuser-style bottom, smaller vents, and outlets for the exhaust tips.
2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8
February 6, 2008
We all knew it was comin and now is finally here, the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8. The SRT8 Challenger will feature a 6.1-Liter Hemi V8 that pumps out 425hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. The SRT8 is expected to reach 0-60 in the low fives as well as a impressive quarter mile time of under 14 seconds. This monster will weigh in at 4,140lb but will sit on forged aluminum 20-inch wheels as well as a set of four-piston Brembo brakes at all four corners. Unfortunately it seems the first run of Challenger SRT8′s will be controlled by Dodge’s five-speed AutoStick transmission but with a Hemi under the hood it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
Mutec Rolls Royce Phantom Limo
February 5, 2008
I don’t understand why anyone would want to change a Rolls Royce Phantom, but those people are out there and they are doing it. Germany’s own Mutec is the latest to put the Phantom under the knife adding an extra 43-inches and converting the normal Rolls into a stretch limousine. They also added an extra set of seats for face-to-face seating. [via] See more pictures of the limo.
