Yuneec E430 Electric Plane

The E430 from the British company Yuneec is the first electric plane set for commercial production. It only costs approximately $2 per hour in fuel to operate, with enough charge for up to a 3 hour flight. This light sport aircraft will set you back $89,000 when it comes out sometime 2011. Arturo Alonso is the mastermind behind this reborn beauty. The 2009 Gullwing-America 300 SL Panamericana features a fiberglass-reinforced aluminum body on top of a powder-coated steel chassis. It will be powered by a Mercedes M-133-55 engine (370HP), the same 5.5-liter V8 in the supercharged SLR McLaren. A V6 option is also in the works. Owners will have their choice between a six-speed manual or a seven-ratio Speedtronic automatic transmission. BMW S1000RR

BMW finally delivered a bike that can compete in the World Superbike Championship. The S1000RR features; aluminum beam frame, high-spec USD fork and monoshock (both ends fully adjustable), Brembo brakes, carbonfiber bodywork and 1,000cc inline-four that makes about 200bhp at the crank. Best of all, BMW wants to price this bike competitively with Japanese bikes which means you can get one for under $20,000. Click for image gallery and video.

This is a 1/3 scale remote-controlled monster truck that converts allowing you to ride it. It has a 110cc four-stroke engine, disc brakes, automatic transmission, independent suspension and aluminum wheels. The truck measures about 4′ 2″ long and can handle a rider up to 200 lbs. Tramontana R

The tiny, turbo-charged Tramontana R–a joyride for two costing $495,000. The jet-fighter-esque twin-turbo-charged car is packed with 760 horses, and weighs in at 2,750 pounds. GXV Unimog

The GXV Unimog will be seeing its last days of superiority this year. The original model was founded in 1945, with modifications being made almost every year over the past 64 years. Well known for its ability to accept almost any kind of diesel as well as sulfur rich fuel usually offered in second to third world countries, this vehicle will run on just about anything(and yes, that includes bio diesel as well). Retailing for $380,000 2009 is the final year to get your hands on this luxurious vehicle, as Unimog has announced that they will no longer be releasing new models in the states. Poseidon 180 Yacht

The Poseidon 180 is a truly unique yacht. Its most striking feature is its enormous glass dome which houses several decks inside. The yacht contains eight private rooms which grant their residents a full ocean view. With its glass dome and curved balconies, the entire design has a very sleek and modern feel to it.
