This is a 1/3 scale remote-controlled monster truck that converts allowing you to ride it. It has a 110cc four-stroke engine, disc brakes, automatic transmission, independent suspension and aluminum wheels. The truck measures about 4′ 2″ long and can handle a rider up to 200 lbs. There has been a lot of exotic boats on this site, but this is the first one that is remote control. Its a 1:10 scale hydroplane boat modeled after the Ferrari Arno XI. In 1953 the Ferrari Arno XI set a world 800kg-class speed record of 150.49 mph. Surprisingly this little guy can do 20 mph which scaled up would be way faster than the real thing. You can get the the remote controlled Ferrari Arno XI hydroplane for $2,000 while the real thing is priceless.

Ironically enough it took an American by the name of Eric Darnell to put an entirely new spin on something purely Australian. Mr. Darnell recently demonstrated his newest prototype, a boomerang with LED lights at a recent interview by Popular Mechanics. The 62-year-old boomerang aficionado created a design with LED lights that brighten up the night sky to show the exact flight path of the boomerang and allow for some very interesting long exposure photography.
