SSD capacity is really starting to take off with consumer products such as the iPhone and iPod Touch receiving bumps up in storage. However they don’t even come close to BiTMICRO’s newest offering a 1.6TB SSD. The new SSD will be in the popular 3.5in size and will support a Ultra320 SCSI connection as well as featuring a sustained data transfer rate of 230MB/sec. Transcend has recently introduced its new 32GB 133X CompactFlash Card making it the largest capacity device in its class. The card itself is designed for serious photographers and at a insane 32gb of storage it should be more than sufficient for any professional applications. Unfortunately price and availability are currently unknown.
