Since there aren’t exactly white-water rapids everywhere the new Surfango’s PowerKayak trades in the normal kayak paddles for a 9.5 hp engine to increase the excitement. The power plant itself is a 4-stroke engine putting out 9.5hp and features an electric start and a hand-held throttle and can power the kayak up to a top speed of 25mph. The Surfango PowerKayak even features waterproof storage compartments, fishing rod holders, on-board digital dashboard and a 2-gallon fuel tank for about 2 hours of fun at full throttle. The Surfango PowerKayak starts at $2899 and but the company also has several other models to choose from and even has a surfboard with the same engine, the PowerSurf FX that retails at $2699.

Theses Oluce Ibiza Ambi Outdoor Speaker/Lights are a fantastic idea for outdoor entertainment but can also used indoors as well. When used outside they allow your guests to enjoy music in your backyard while simultaneously lighting up the yard after the sun goes down. They were designed by Francesco Rotaa an award winning designer and are a brilliant combination of form and technology. They come in two different size and three separate configuration, one with only the light, and the other three have various sizes of speakers depending on how large your backyard is. Most outdoor speakers I have seen in the past have been disguised as fake rocks and look pathetic but the Obluce Ibiza Ambi Outdoors speakers are sure to impress.

Mountain Hardware Stronghold Camping Tent ($3,000) utilizes a double-wall dome shaped design, which minimizes wind load over its surface area. It has room for 10 people and weighs 44 lbs. It has three zippered doors, large roof vent and five perimeter vents to help circulate air. For snow camping, the tent has a waterproof perimeter floor band which allows you to carve out snow into seats. Built with Yunan Scandium PF poles, this tent is perfect for a good camping trip.

Since it is the middle of summer, and the 4th of July is right around the corner. I have decided to write about several outdoor products that will make your holiday even better. Starting it all off is the AquaClimb (starting at $10,500) climbing wall for your pool. Sure swimming around in your pool is fun, but it is imposable to get the same adrenalin rush as climbing up and falling off this wall. They have different configuration for different depth pools. For a 5-ft deep pool, they recommended a 10.5-ft wall. For pools deeper than 10-ft they have a 14-ft wall. AquaClimb panels are made from high performance fiberglass, which are finished with a gently textured non-slip surface, meant specifically for aquatic environments. The panels incorporate real rock features, along with inset and protruding handholds.

The Hot Pod ($500) combines the cool fun of a pool with the relaxing hydrotherapy of a spa. It is basically a hot tub that floats around in your pool, and is powered by your pools existing heater system. Just connect the Hot Pod to your pools heater inlet and outlet, and in minutes the six heater jets will keep everything in the Hot Pod nice and warm.
