The Launch Kontrol firework launcher is a firework igniter system that allows you to set off fireworks remotely, reducing risk of injury. It features igniters that clip onto up to five firework fuses, which are then controlled by a remote control. Fifteen igniters are included with the device for $35, and an extra fifteen go for $17. The product is currently available only in the UK.

This is a 1/3 scale remote-controlled monster truck that converts allowing you to ride it. It has a 110cc four-stroke engine, disc brakes, automatic transmission, independent suspension and aluminum wheels. The truck measures about 4′ 2″ long and can handle a rider up to 200 lbs. Unfortunately there is no distributor yet.

Well known for its ability to accept almost any kind of diesel as well as sulfur rich fuel usually offered in second to third world countries, this vehicle will run on just about anything(and yes, that includes bio diesel as well). Retailing for $380,000 2009 is the final year to get your hands on this luxurious vehicle, as Unimog has announced that they will no longer be releasing new models in the states.

The other day I saw a woman get hit by a truck while she was riding her bike. She laid next to her bike, unable to move before she was rushed to the hospital. There has been a lot of exotic boats on this site, but this is the first one that is remote control. Its a 1:10 scale hydroplane boat modeled after the Ferrari Arno XI. In 1953 the Ferrari Arno XI set a world 800kg-class speed record of 150.49 mph. Surprisingly this little guy can do 20 mph which scaled up would be way faster than the real thing. You can get the the remote controlled Ferrari Arno XI hydroplane for $2,000 while the real thing is priceless.

Based out of Austria, Action Mobil has been making expedition vehicles since 1979. The Globecruiser (pictured above) is their latest model which is based on the MAN TGA 6×6 platform. The Globecruiser is powered by a giant 783ci turbodiesel (530 hp), and has 4 x 240W solar panels. The two fuel tanks hold 219 gallons, while the water tank holds 154 gallons. This monster should be available in 2009 for $670,000.

Derbi DH 2.0

Derbi has a sweet little bike in the works. The DH 2.0 could be described as a motorized mountain bike. Its name Derbi means DERived from BIcycles, and the DH suggests the design is derived from Down Hill bike racing. The frame is completely minimalistic which keeps the weight down to only 88lbs! The DH 2.0 is powered by a 100cc air cooled 4 stroke engine. It features; underseat exhaust, inverted fork, and an air monoshock rear suspension. There is no word on pricing or availabiltiy yet. Daniel Schipper designed this lightweight greenhouse for people in urban areas. It has a frameless modular construction and is made of recyclable plastic. The Folding Greenhouse is small enough to be stored almost anywhere. Its too bad there is no info on production nor pricing. Best bet might be to try and make one yourself. [via]
