Logitech’s Harmony 900 Universal Remote Dominates The Rest
August 11, 2009
About the size of a normal remote but with more features including a touch screen. It also has a RF to IR blaster to control everything at once. The IR blaster goes in front of your massive collection of audio equipment (you DO have a massive collection, right?) and converts the RF signals into IR blasted in every direction. This way you don’t have to have your cabinets open blocking the pathway and even be able to control things behind you. The draw back is that it costs a whopping $400, but if you have that kind of money laying around in change in your room or something might as well get it. Well, get it changed into bills first.

C. Crane Digital FM Transmitter
December 10, 2008
Everyone I know has tried several different ways to transmit music from their MP3 player to their car, yet many of those products fail to live up to expectations. Some reasons why they don’t produce perfect quality audio through a FM reciever are; 1. lack of external power, and 2. lack of antenna. The C. Crane Digital FM Transmitter ($70) has tackled both those obstacles, allowing it to transmit audio from any device with a standard headphone jack to a nearby FM radio receiver in perfect stereo quality. The device even transmits 40 – 70 feet away! Now you can enjoy internet radio, and music from your mp3 player on that legacy audio system. Take a peek at the image gallery.
