Welcome the newly upgraded W-Zero 3 Advance by Sharp. Is major upgrade was the fairly impressive 3-inch 800×480 resolution screen, not to mention it slimmed down to 17.9mm thick. Another great feature is the numeric keyboard separate from the slide down QWERTY keyboard. The guts of this machiene are pretty standard with a 520MHz CPU, 256MB storage and 128MB memory. No bluetooth, WiFi, or GPS, but they can be connect externally via miniUSB. Hopefully this will come stateside sometime, there is no word yet about price or availability.

Porsche Design and Sagem Communication has teamed up to produce the P’9521 cell phone made from aluminum and glass. It features: 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash and zoom plus video recording capabilities. A double hinge made from aluminum enables the screen to be rotated through 180°-for video recording. The best feature is the fingerprint reader which protects data on your phone (a standard PIN can also be used to unlock the phone). They say the phone will not be for sale in the US, Japan, or Korea, but hopefully someone imports this sleek new phone.

Meizu MiniOne

This is an iPhone right? Wrong! This is the Meizu MiniOne, and it one-ups the iPhone in nearly every category. The MiniOne compared to the iPhone (MiniOne / iPhone) has more storage (4gb-16gb / 4gb-8gb), a higher resolution screen (720×480 / 320 by 480), two cameras, more megapixels in the camera (3mp / 2mp), GPS, TV Tuner, and costs less ($260-4gb / $499-4gb). I tend to stay away from trendy apple products after my ipod broke, but now I have good reason.

Today the world was officially introduced to the new HTC Touch. The Touch is the latest device from HTC offering a 2.8-inch touchscreen with QVGA resolution, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, 1GB microSD card (thankfully included), 2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6, tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0. With all this technology packed into a relatively thin package (3.9in x 2.2in x 0.5mm) it seems to be the only product at this time to be able to compete with the iPhone. It’s also available in two colors, soft black or wasabi and has a very intelligent user interface backed by Windows Mobile 6. Currently the only big downside to the Touch is the the fact that it is not a 3G phone, this may be a deal breaker for some but for others this new smartphone will have a lot to offer.

Basically i won’t bother to going into any of the details because there is no need but more importantly the video above demonstrates Nvidia’s new Geforce 5500 mobile platform and it will be hitting cell phones in the near future. This new chip brings gaming and high-def broadcasts a reality for all cell phones, and unfortunately we will probably see these new chips before we see a decent 3G network in the US.
