Ferrari F430 Scuderia Office Chair

Converted from a real Ferrari F430 Scuderia 16M this is a black and red leather office chair with contrast stitching (red on the black leather, black on the red leather), and has a new radical shape and design. Although it looks strange to have the cut out area around your kidneys and the opening between your knees, this ergonomic change from Ferrari has proven to be one of their most comfortable seats yet! The entire rear shell and side trim is clear coated real carbon fiber. The headrest has an embossed prancing horse logo on it and just below it an opening for shoulder racing belts.

The seat base is an average width with a deep and comfortable back, and this sculpted design fits any modern office. The seatback tilt can be adjusted with a few turns of the carbon fiber knob on the side of the seat. Your order also includes a custom base color of your choice and integrated arm rests.

This is not a TV stand that you will find at IKEA (actually you’re unlikely to find this anywhere outside of Japan). Yamaha is jumping on the all-in-one tv stand bandwagon with their Polyphony YRS-1000. Basically its a central hub that efficiently manages all your components. The YRS-1000 is compatible with 46 types of flat-panel TVs and features; two HDMI units, built-in subwoofer, and 5.1 channel playback. So if you’re in the market for surround-sound and a tv stand, you might as well mix them together and get this. Its available now (Japan only) and is a great space saver for smaller living rooms. Carlo Rossi has been making wine for quite some time but now it seems they have started something new by taking recycling to a all new level. Showcased on Carlo Rossi’s website are some interesting new concepts such as a lamp, bookshelf, couch, chandelier, and even a surround sound system all constructed out of various sizes of Carlo Rossi wine jugs. By far the most interesting design is the 5.1 Sangria sound system using several 4-5liter wine jugs and holes drilled into the sides to allow music to resonate perfectly.

The new Bossa Pendant Luminary designed by Fernando Prado and manufactured by Lumini is a wonderful combination of both form and function. The luminary itself is a very simple concept, basically its an overhead light that is able to easily expand to allow more light in order to brighten up a room. Basically the luminary uses a combination of a reflector and an aluminum disc to allow the user to change between direct and indirect lighting giving an infinite possibility of lighting effects. I love simple designs and this luminary is a prefect example of how simple designs can sometimes be the most practical.

“Fully Loaded” Chair

Created by Alexander Reh the new ‘Fully Loaded ” Chair is the perfect blend of both simplicity and ammunition. The chair itself is constructed of 450 .12 gauge shotgun shells (hence the name) and is clearly a radical departure from the shells intended use. Using the shells allows for an intense contrast form the bright brass on the front to the hollow red plastic casing on the backside. While the price is unknown, unfortunately the designer Alexander Reh is only producing a limited run of 30 chairs, so if your interested contact the designer’s website for availability
