Designer Andriy Kurovets is making a unique attempt to bring attention to the AIDS problem. His jewelry is modeled after the virus that causes AIDS. These pieces are excellent conversation starters that help spread AIDS awareness.

This ring by Melissa Joy Manning features an 18 karat gold bezel. She uses 14 or 18 karat yellow, pink and green gold, sterling silver, semi-precious and precious stones, hand-selected bones and found objects to create her one of a kind rings ($495).
