eMac Rumor, Intel powers Mac’s lower end computers
May 27, 2006
First of all i would like to thank Engadget for giving us a rather good looking mock-up of the new upcoming eMac. Although not much information is available for the new Mac but what seems to be certain will be the switch to a LCD monitor and hopefully will be powered be a Intel dual core processor as well. The buzz surrounding the new Mac seems to be the idea of introducing it in time for the Fall 2006 school year. Given a price that should center around $799-$999 it seems like the new eMac might be fairly popular with students

As everyone knows the new MacBook Pro’s use a nice motion sensor for its iSight software and various other applications but the coolest is a mod out there is a feature that allows you too switch desktops with just a little tap. This mod alone makes me want to purchase a MacBook Pro (the fact that its one of the fastest laptops out there also help a lil too)

Thank you Samsung. Pictured above is a Q1 and Q30 with 32GB of memory!!! These PCs are scheduled for JUNE in Korea ONLY ! The drawback is the price which will be around over $2,400.00 USD for a Q1. In case your not in the know about what a Solid State Drive is, it is flash data storage that is going to make the next generation computers super fast by eliminating time it takes for hard disks to read data.

May 22, 2006

For all you gamers out there Bit-tech.net has posted an amazing review on the possibility of Core Duo chips inside desktops and come up with some pretty interesting results
“What’s faster than an AMD Athlon FX-60? Well, an Intel Core Duo overclocked on a fantastic AOpen board based on the 975X chipset. We get to grips with Intel’s portable processing powerhouse in a desktop board and contemplate – is this a sign of things to come?”
PS3 a bargin compared to Blu-Ray Drives Prices
May 22, 2006

Now before anyone gets upset, i know PS3 has yet to be released and Blu-Ray prices will likely drop some by then but the current prices are a little tough to handle. With online merchants starting to post prices around $999 for the drive the high price of the upcoming PS3 with its Blu-Ray capabilities looks to be quite a bargin
“Pioneer’s BDR-101A Blu-ray burner, one of the first products of its kind to hit store shelves. The 2X E-IDE internal burner for PCs is now available from Tiger Direct for $999.99, and the etailer claims it will ship units in “7-21 days.”
The PS3′s Blu-Ray drive will of course not be able to write onto the 25GB or 50GB-DL Blu-Ray dics but it will function as a relativley low cost alternative to playing Blu-Ray media (That is of course you decide to pay the extra money and get the PS3 wtih HDMI so you will be able yo take advantage of the technology, shame on you sony for not including it onto you cheaper model PS3) With every new technology there will always be a premium to pay to get it first but for $999 i think ill wait for PS3 or my local best buy to start sellin Blu-Ray drives for
