We all know that the Asus Eeehas been a huge success and now Asus is ready to take their line of inexpensive computer products to the next level. Introducing E-DT , E-TV, and E-Monitor. The E-DT will be a desktop featuring a Intel Celeron processor and a extremely attractive price of $200-$300. Next up is the E-Monitor, which we be a all-in-one PC similar to the iMac and will feature a 19-21in screen as well as a TV tuner all for a price around $500. And my personal favorite, the E-TV which will be a 42in LCD that will feature a Linux based PC inside the LCD and is expected to only add $200 to the price of a typical 42in LCD. I am sure most of you have been reading about all that awesome new gadgets that popped up at this years Consumer Electronics Show. One thing that seriously caught my eye was iRivers UNIT 2. The Keyboard is designed for media center applications as it uses Bluetooth 2.0 for a stable, long range use compared to RF as well as incorporating a long lasting lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The new keyboard also uses a innovative touchpad that doubles as a a normal mousepad but also doubles as a controller for Windows Media Center. Its small form factor allows for it to be placed in a living room in conjunction with a media center pc or even a PS3 and will retail for $149.99.

Bitmicro has created a 461GB Solid State Disk Drive. The E-Disk Altima flash drives are standard 2.5-inch Serial ATA (SATA), and are engineered to be very reliable. They can operate in temperatures of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, and withstand substantial shock. Based on current flash memory prices, these things are going to be pretty pricey and will be built specifically for industrial and military applications. New Asus C90 Notebook

Asus recently introduced the C90, a new breed of laptops that allow the customer to upgrade nearly the entire laptop’s components in a matter of minutes. The C90 allows everything form the optical drive to the GPU and processor to be changed out easily by the customer. The C90 will start at a reasonable price of $1,500 and will include some useful ports such as eSATA and HDMI and allows the choice for a high-def optical drive for additional costs. According to ASUS the system’s CPU will be as easy as upgrading your desktops processor and the GPU will be just as easy and will consist of Nvidia 8600 and 8500 options. The new user-upgradeable components now allows laptops users to increase the performance of their machines without having to buy a complete replacement.
