Pandora: Avenging the Death of the GP2x

OCZ Solid State Drives

We have been reporting on SSDs for a while now. Its about time we get to let loose some good news for us consumers. OCZ has announced its new line of 2.5in Solid State Hard Drives which are the most affordable yet. They come in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB and retail for $169, $259 and $479 respectively. Phantom Lapboard

On January 3, 2006 Phantom Entertainment (The people who were going to make the Phantom Game Console) announced the Phantom Lapboard ($130), which was originally meant to be a component of the Phantom Game Console. Phantom decided to scrap the game console but still offer the Lapboard component as an accessory for PC games. 8.9in Asus Eee Set To Launch Early

Now it seems Asus will release their 8.9in version of the Eee laptop a month earlier than originally planned. The larger Eee is now set to be released in May instead of June. Unfortunately the slight change in releasing the notebook early will mean that Intel’s new Atom processor originally slated for the 8.9in Eee will not be used. However all other specs remain the same with both XP and linux version available, as well as various sizes of SSD’s up to 12gb. The price for the new 8.9in Eee is expected to start at $499

NVIDIA’s GeForce 9600 GT

Today Nvidia released their newest budget oriented video card. The 9600GT features Nvidia’s newest core, the G94 which provides a 650mhz core clock and best of all a sub-$200 price tag.
