Designed by architect Matteo Thun, the Zwillling Damascus, is made out of 160 layers of steel. Every blade has a unique patten which is produced by an acid wash. Perfect balance is owed to the untreated oiled grenadill wood handle. This collection currently offers a chef’s, bread, pairing, and Santoku knife. Priced at $700 – $1,000 per knife.
