The Gerber Kick Axe ($90) is the perfect tool for camping trips. Weighing in at just over a pound the metal locking frame is safe and innovative, allowing the user to quickly cut through branches up to 2.5 inches in diameter. Its compact nature allows it to be carried far more comfortably and safely then a full sized axe. The axe will be available July 1, 2009.
