Consumer Electronics Show 2009

We saw a lot of crazy gadgets and new technologies at the Consumer Electronics Show this year. My favorite part of the expo was trying out the products that have already been featured on iWishihadthis.com

I stopped by the Wacom booth to check out the Lenovo W700. My first thought was “is this really 17 inches?” The chunky system is a lot larger than other 17 inch systems at the expo. I am glad that Lenovo and Wacom are sticking out their neck for innovation, when the trend is to go thinner and lighter.
Total Liquid Submersion Reactor
The most shocking system that was all over CES was the Total Liquid Submersion Reactor PC. I demoed the system at the Intel booth playing Mercenaries 2. The game ran incredibly smooth on the monitors native resolution and very high anti-aliasing.
Rovio Wi-Fi Robot
Out of all the wifi-webcam-robots I tried out, my favorite was the Rovio. It was the smoothest and easiest to control. Some of the competitor robots couldn’t even look up or down.
