Nina Levett is an Austrian artist who makes exquisite patterns of mostly pink and neon pink, then arranges the painted patterns ($335 to $1,345 per piece) in a series to fit together like tiles. The modular painting series fit any type of space, as they can freely be combined. The patterns are very simple, inspired by textile and graphic designs. All of the paintings are hand painted or cut, often taking weeks to create the larger pictures. Each one is covered with epoxy resin for water resistant use in indoor or outdoor spaces. She also handpaints walls for clients, when requested. If you would like to see more of her work, it will be exhibited in the Vienna Museumsquartier during Fall 2007.

[07/19/2007] UPDATE: Nina Levett was added to the internet archive of the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.
