Hyposurface

August 25, 2007

HypoSurface is a display system where the screen surface physically moves, allowing the participant to connect and interact with a massive powerful force. It is a pattern of triangles which are connected to a series of pneumatic actuators that push/pull each triangle. The massive array is powered by compressed air, and is programmable via PC interface. The Hyposurface staff will program the Hyposurface for any event, and recommend having someone controlling it like a DJ — they say it’s a little like controlling a waterfall, and looking at it makes you feel like you are on drugs with out actualy taking any.
