Recently a Japanese company unveiled their new color changing Fuwapica table and chairs set at this year’s SIGGRAPH 2007 in San Diego. The various pieces of furniture can change color in response to changes in weight and positioning of the user. In addition there are several built-in sensors that can determine the color of items placed on the Fuwapica table, resulting in the furniture automatically changing color in accordance to the objects placed on them. While there is not set date on production for Fuwapica table, the “ice cube chairs” will soon be available and estimated to cost between $1,510 and $3,250. More pictures after the jump
