Ever get tired of seeing the same thing everytime you look out your window? Finnish designer Elina Aalto of Fiasko Design has introduced an alternative to this problem. Elina created a roll-up black-out curtain that will definately change up the scenery. As of right now the city views that are available are Shinjuku, Tokyo, and Kallio, Helsinki. All pieces are custom hand made. The “Better View” Curtain is currently part of SAUMA, a travelling exhibition brought together by Finnish Cultural Institute in NY. Sauma is currently at the L.A. Architecture and Design Museum until August 28, 2007, and after will move onwards to Helsinki and Paris for 2008. No word on how to buy, or how much they may cost. All I know is that this curtain is the perfect solution to changing up your window view.
