Steel Cacti

These steel cacti ($900) are perfect if you want a southwestern look at your home but cant grow a saguaro cactus. They come in mirrored, galvanized, verdigris, and patina rust steel finishes. You can also customize each cactus with additional arms and flowers. Here in Arizona these saguaros grow wild but they are illegal to cut down. More Pictures.

Yamaha Tesseract

Look what Yamaha brought out at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha Tesseract concept is one insane looking bike. It features extra wheels for stability, and an extra engine for fuel economy. They don’t have specs on any of the engines, but it is impressive none the less. [via]

Silver ‘Memento Mori’ Skull

This solid silver skull ($300) measures 1″ wide by 1.5″ tall. The title in Latin Memento Mori translates in English to “remember that you are mortal.” It can be used as a paperweight or conversation piece, it is to remind you that “life on earth is fleeting and everyone should live each day to the fullest.” Not to mention it would make an awesome Halloween decoration.

New LED Boomerang

Ironically enough it took an American by the name of Eric Darnell to put an entirely new spin on something purely Australian. Mr. Darnell recently demonstrated his newest prototype, a boomerang with LED lights at a recent interview by Popular Mechanics. The 62-year-old boomerang aficionado created a design with LED lights that brighten up the night sky to show the exact flight path of the boomerang and allow for some very interesting long exposure photography.
